How to Make Single Wall Stainless Steel Bottle?

According to statistics, only in the America , more than 1,500 single-use plastic water bottles will be consumed every second. This has resulted in a large amount of plastic waste pollution, especially 80% of which cannot be recycled, causing over 38 million plastic bottles to be shipped to landfills across the America. Due to the recycling issue and other problems that may caused by plastic bottle, stainless steel bottle will be a good choice to replace.

 

Environment-friendly is the biggest advantages of stainless steel bottle. When the number of people using stainless steel bottles exceeds that of people using plastic bottles, that means the number of plastic bottles we see in landfills are gradually decreasing every year. This will  reduce plastic pollution. Stainless steel bottle can be recycled when we are not using it, which is also benefit to the green environment. Besides, stainless steel bottles also have the advantages of durability and energy saving as it can realize longer-term use effect with only one-time energy consumption.

 

So, how to make stainless steel bottles? Let us introduce to you. We will start from the single wall steel bottle in the article, and following we will also show you the steps for insulated steel bottle/vacuum flask.           

                                         

Preliminary Forming of Bottle

          

1. Pipe Making: make the stainless steel sheets into roller shape of required size, and weld the connecting seam.

                             

                 

2. Pipe Cutting: cut the finished pipes into the corresponding length.                      

3. Pipe-end Deburring: after dividing the pipes, need to do deburring of the pipe end to make this part smooth.               

4. Welding Seam Flattening: to make the welding connecting seam of the pipes flattened.                    

5. Water Bulging: the solution pressure will make the pipes expand into the corresponding shape.

                       

                    

6. Bottle Dividingdivide the bulged pipe into two bottles. Can use blade or laser cutting for dividing.

                             

Bottle Mouth and Bottom Forming

                            

1. Necking Spinning: to make the shape of the bottle neck through spinning. There are double stations and triple stations for option, according to the required production volume.                           

2. Rim Scrap Cutting: cut the excess edge waste of the bottle neck to make the bottle mouth flat. In this process, there are two method to choose - blade cutting or laser cutting.

                  

                      

3. Bottle Shaping: through high-speed spinning, to make the bottle mouth and bottom to the desired shape.

4. Neck Threading: spin the thread that rolls out of the bottle mouth.             

5. Bottle Mouth Beading: bead the bottle mouth, so that the mouth edge will be suitable for drinking.

                   

                   

6. Bottom Expanding: to improve the bottle bottom circle rate, in order to have better bottom welding in the following.

7. Bottle Mouth and Bottom Trimming: trim the top and bottom edges of the bottle. 

8. Ultrasonic Cleaning: the ultrasonic generator sends out a high-frequency oscillation signal to make the dirt leave the surface of the steel bottle, so as to achieve to cleaning effect, improving bottom welding yield.

9. Bottom Cap WeldingWeld the bottom to the body of the bottle. There are argon arc welding and laser welding for option.

                   

Cleaning and Leakage Testing

                  

1. Leakage/Welding Testingpress the finished bottle into the water to observe whether there is water leakage.

                  

               

2. Sand Blasting: use the high-speed moving sand the brush the bottle inner surface, to improve the bottle inside quality. 

3. Electrolysis inner bottle polishing: using electrolysis to polish the inside of the bottle to make it smooth and glossy.

4. Bottle Washing and Drying: clean the bottle with chemicals, and then place the cleaned bottles in the oven to dry  

5. Bottle Outer Surface Polishing: to make the outer surface better looking.

                                    

Bottle Body Processing Craft

                         

There are some ways of the bottle body outer part processing. According to different requirement, bottle factories can do powder coating, spraying and painting, copper coating, UV printing, water transfer printing, silk screen printing, ect.
